Questions
- How do the free credits work?
- Each new developer account gets 1,000 Commerce Credits once, when it signs up, with no credit card. They are a one-time grant, not a monthly allowance. If your credits don't appear after sign-up, contact support.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Free and purchased Commerce Credits stay in your balance until you use them.
- Am I charged for failed calls?
- No. You are charged only when we make a request our data providers bill us for; a search where every provider request failed is free, and so is a call that fails. Checking the status of a long-running job is always free.
- What happens when I run out of credits?
- Calls stop being accepted until you buy a credit pack. Nothing is charged automatically, so you never get a surprise bill.
- Do Zapier and MCP calls use the same credits?
- Yes. REST API calls, Commerce MCP tool calls and Nesika steps in Zapier all spend credits from the same balance, at the same cost per operation.
